As the primary location for the filming of all 37 years of Last of the Summer Wine, Holmfirth is already the perfect place to visit and snap some photos of yourself beside Nora Batty's steps, Sid's Cafè, or many other iconic sights. For the anniversary weekend, however, we have some extra photo opportunities in store.
EDIE'S TRIUMPH
For years, Edie (Thora Herd) terrorised the hills of the Holme valley in her iconic red triumph. Beautifully cared for since the series' production came to an end, we are very pleased to say that the care will be joining us in town for fans to see and snap.
COSTUMED CAPERS
Last of the Summer Wine wouldn't be what it is today without some scruffy wellies and wrinkled stockings. Across the weekend, you may catch sight of our character models who will be available to chat and take pictures alongside.
ENTWHISTLE'S PICKUP
For all things electrical and ancient Chinese medicine, Entwistle (Burt Kwouk) required his trusty pickup. We're thrilled to say that the vehicle used for filming will be joining us across the weekend.
