LAST OF THE
SUMMER WINE
50 GOLDEN SUMMERS
26TH - 28TH MAY
About The Celebration
2023 marks the 50th anniversary of Roy Clarke's Last of the Summer Wine, Britain's much loved and longest running sitcom. Across 295 episodes, the series introduced us to countless characters and provided countless laughs.
To celebrate, the town of Holmfirth (where the series was filmed for 37 years) is laying on a weekend of celebratory events for fans of all ages. There is no better time to join us and walk in the wellysteps of Compo, pay a visit to Nora Batty's steps, and gather together with like-minded fans of the show.

Our programme of events is still being finalised, but below you will find some of the offerings planned so far. To help as many people celebrate Last of the Summer Wine's 50th Anniversary as possible, there will be a mix of ticketed and non-ticketed activities.
